Iranian Premium Supplier of Caustic Soda
Iranian lands with special geographical and topological structure, contain several salt domes making Iran a large scale supplier of sodium based salts.
The salt domes are structural geomorphology of Iran. Those higher densities are formed in Zagros Folded zones, Persian Gulf region and rarely in central Iran and Azerbaijan Province near Turkish Border while the main originating area is Hormoz Formation related to Infra-Cambrian.
These resources have created an opportunity to flourish industries based on sodium products through processing the sodium salt resources. Main products obtained from the salt in Iran are Caustic Soda Flakes and Soda Ash. Both industries are still at the growing period in their life cycle and have enough technological development to execute exports.
